Sumner County
Sumner County is located in south central Kansas twenty-three miles south of Wichita and abutting the Oklahoma border. Sumner County is included in the designation of the Wichita Metropolitan Service Area. The County encompasses 1,188 square miles and the population according to the 2010 census was 23,488. The County seat is the City of Wellington with a population of approximately 7,600. The County is also home to nine other incorporated communities, they are Argonia, Belle Plaine, Caldwell, Conway Springs, Geuda Springs, Mayfield, Milan, South Haven, and Oxford. These examinations will be paid for entirely by Sumner County. Costs of transportation and time involved taking the examinations are the responsibility of the applicant.
