Baitshop Associate - Harvey County

Minimum starting rate: $15.86/hour

Employment type: Part-time, seasonal

Under the direct supervision of the Parks Director, this non-exempt position is responsible for administrative support of the Parks department. This job involves communicating and working with the public. Seasonal part-time position starting mid-April until mid-September. Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, up to 24 hours per week.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
• Communicate with customers, employees, and other individuals to answer questions, disseminate or explain information, and address questions.
• Count and handle money, receipt money from customers, balance cash in drawers, deposit funds in vault, balance funds, accounts and books.
• Must be able and willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Work with live and packaged bait
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Fishing knowledge helpful

Required Education: High school education or G.E.D, six months to twelve months related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
