Beautification Coordinator - City of Coffeyville

The City of Coffeyville has an open position for a Part-Time Beautification Coordinator. This position will be responsible for enhancing city properties through the planning and execution of beautification projects. This role involves: developing plans that consider community needs and budgets, collaborating with department heads, and overseeing projects from start to finish. The Coordinator will engage residents and organizations for feedback and support, will organize community events, and implement eco-friendly practices to ensure sustainability. Effective resource management, including budgeting and seeking additional funding, is also crucial. Strong planning, project management, communication skills, and a commitment to sustainability are essential for success in this role.

Prior experience with Beautification roles or work history indicating experience coordinating efforts among multiple groups or factions is required. Starting wage is $20.00/hr. Position may eventually transition to a full-time position with benefits.
