Apprentice Water Treatment Operator 1st Year - City of Coffeyville

The City of Coffeyville is seeking applications for the position of Apprentice Water Treatment Operator (1st year - $18.74/hour + excellent benefits package). Position duties include but are not limited to: monitor water quality, process control testing, maintain logs and prepare reports, operate and adjust treatment plant pumps, read plant gauges, graphs and other instrumentation, perform minor preventive maintenance, assist in maintenance and repair of plant. Must pass written test and participate in classroom and on-the-job training to complete State water treatment operator certification. Rotating shift work.

Applicants must be willing to meet the City of Coffeyville residency requirement to within 50 miles of 7th & Walnut in Coffeyville and be able to respond to work within one hour of call.  Must pass physical and drug test. Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.   Applications accepted until position filled. EOE
