Apprentice Operator 1st Year - Wastewater Treatment - City of Coffeyville

The City of Coffeyville has an opening for an Apprentice Operator 1st year for the Wastewater Treatment Plant. Position duties include but are not limited to: perform skilled and semi-skilled maintenance in operation and repair of wastewater treatment plant pumping equipment; operate variety of equipment. Experience monitoring, inspecting and repairing pumps, dials and gauges is required. This position also requires record keeping documentation. Must be able to complete self-study apprentice program and on-the-job training to achieve Wastewater Treatment Operator certification. Some shift work required.

Starting pay for this position is $18.74/hour plus benefits package. Applicants must be willing to meet the City of Coffeyville's residency requirement which is to reside within 50 miles of City Hall, 102 W. 7th St. Applications accepted until position is filled. EOE
