Responsibilities:
• Respond to and resolve IT support tickets submitted by City staff in a timely and professional manner.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and user access issues to minimize disruption to City operations.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop computers, printers, and other City-owned technology equipment.
• Support software installations, updates, patches, and troubleshooting across City systems and applications.
• Assist with monitoring and maintaining the performance and functionality of technology systems and equipment.
• Provide technical guidance and user support for IT-related questions and issues.
• Assist with staff training to promote effective and secure technology use.
• Collaborate with the Technology Coordinator on technology projects, including system upgrades, hardware deployments, and infrastructure improvements.
• Maintain accurate documentation of support activities, hardware inventory, and system configurations.
• Work with vendors and service providers as directed to support IT operations and repairs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
• Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
• One (1) to three (3) years of experience providing technical support in an IT or systems environment required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


Physical Requirements:
Work is primarily performed in an office environment, with occasional site visits to City facilities. The employee must be able to lift and move equipment up to 40 pounds and may be required to bend, kneel, or climb to install or maintain devices.
