PART TIME MAINTENANCE WORKER

The City of Hays is currently looking for a Part Time Maintenance Worker for the Hays Regional Airport. Duties may include general maintenance, grounds maintenance, minor construction projects, & inspection/maintenance of airport runway, lights & reflectors. This position would also help with snow removal.

Position has flexible hours within general operation time Monday-Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm. After trained, evening and weekend hours may be available. Average 20 hours per week with more hours available in the summer.

REQUIREMENTS
Valid driver’s license required. The ideal candidate would have the working knowledge of general construction techniques. Exposure to hazardous chemicals, machinery, excessive noise and all types of weather conditions is expected. Strong communications & mechanical skills required.

COMPENSATION
Pay Range: $10.30-$13.30 per hour
