The City of Halstead is accepting applications for two (2) full-time Public Works positions with the City of Halstead as Utility Maintenance Workers. Skills including general mechanical ability, good verbal communication, equipment operation and/or maintenance and a willingness to work outside and in inclement weather are expected. The Public Works department and its employees are responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of the city’s infrastructure including Gas, Water, Storm Water, and Wastewater systems, streets, and public parks and spaces.
