Power Plant Maintenance Person - City of Coffeyville

The City of Coffeyville is seeking applications for the position of 1st year maintenance person in Electric Generation Department. Position duties include but are not limited to: participate in maintenance and repair of power plant machinery and equipment including boilers, pumps, generators, pipes, valves; conduct preventive maintenance; maintain housekeeping for power plant. Operate variety of equipment. Frequent heavy lifting, climbing stairs and ladders, bending, stooping or kneeling for extended periods.

Starting pay scale $18.97 to $22.24/hour, dependent upon qualifications. Applicants must be willing to meet the City of Coffeyville residency requirements and reside in the State of Kansas and within 25 miles of 7th & Walnut in Coffeyville and be able to report to work within 40 minutes of call.  EOE
