Apprentice Utility 1st Year - Water & Wastewater Treatment - City of Coffeyville

The City of Coffeyville is seeking applicants for the position of Apprentice Utility Person (1st year) for the Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants. Position duties include but are not limited to: perform skilled and semi-skilled maintenance in operation and repair of wastewater treatment plant pumping equipment; operate variety of equipment. 

Must be able to complete self-study apprentice program and on the job training to achieve Water and Wastewater Treatment Operator certifications. Industrial maintenance experience required. Some shift work required. Successful applicant must pass written test, physical exam including back x-ray and drug screen. 

Starting pay is $18.08/hour plus excellent benefit package.  Applicant must be willing to meet the City of Coffeyville residency requirement of living in the State of Kansas within 25 miles of City Hall, 102 W. 7th St.  EOE
