Apprentice Utility 1st Year - Wastewater Treatment - City of Coffeyville

The City of Coffeyville has an opening for an Apprentice Utility Person (1st year) for the Wastewater Treatment Plant. Position duties include but are not limited to: perform skilled and semi-skilled maintenance in operation and repair of wastewater treatment plant pumping equipment; operate variety of equipment. Experience monitoring, inspecting and repairing pumps, dials and gauges is required.  This position also requires record keeping documentation.  Must be able to complete self-study apprentice program and on the job training to achieve Wastewater Treatment Operator certification. Industrial maintenance experience required. Some shift work required.

Starting pay for this position is $18.08/hour plus benefits package.  Applicants must be willing to meet the City of Coffeyville's residency requirement which is to reside in the State of Kansas within twenty-five miles of City Hall, 102 W. 7th St.  Applications accepted until position is filled.  EOE
